There's a small hike from a parking area up a cactus covered cliff to a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean and the lighthouse down below. On a hot day, the hike, which is only a couple miles there and back, can still be a challenge for kids or senior citizens. Good shoes are a must, and I'd suggest bringing along a big bottle of water.
