I actually filmed this look a few days before Christmas but then got caught up in the holidays and never prepped it. I still wanted to finish and post it because it's one of my most used staple eye makeup looks. I wear it all the time -- dinner dates, things for work and other random times when I want to look reasonably well put together. There are a few steps involved, but it's not complicated, and there's lots of room for improvisation if you want to do something differently or use different products instead. Once you've practiced this a few times, you'll have it down pat, guaranteed. For the eyes part, I used mostly matte finishes in the crease and just a hint of shimmer because I think that's a very forgiving combo on my fine lines, and I think it photographs well.
