OPPD’s Engineer of the Year for 2015 has only been with the company for three years, officially. However, in that time, Chris Scofield has made significant contributions to this utility, the industry as a whole and our community. That's why his peers selected him for this prestigious award. Chris worked as a contractor at Fort Calhoun Station from 2005 to 2011. He was hired as a senior design engineer at OPPD in 2012. Because of his leadership, teamwork and work ethic, Chris rose to the top out of the 15 highly regarded engineers who were nominated this year.
